The Third International Conference “Mathematical History and Cliodynamics: Theories, Models, Data” will take place in the Institute of History and Archaeology (IHA) of Russian Academy of Sciences, Urals Branch, Ekaterinburg, Russia. The conference is organized by Prof. Peter Turchin (University of Connecticut, USA) and Prof. Sergey Nefedov (IHA, Ekaterinburg, Russia). The aim of the conference is to bring together the researchers working within the fields of historical macrosociology, mathematical modeling of historical processes, statistical analysis of dynamical processes in history, historical databases, social evolution, economic history (cliometrics), historical demography, and related disciplines. The report of Prof. Sulakshin “Social nature and laws of evolution” is scheduled for the morning plenary session on December, 21.
