Turchin is also conducting the interdisciplinary research of humanity evolution trades at the Santa Fe Institute (USA). He is one of the founders of cliodynamics, the new scientific discipline located at the intersection of historical macrosociology, cliometrics, and mathematical modeling of social processes. This field of his research and scientific approach coincides with those of the Center. During a half-day meeting the broad discussion of the conducting researches took place.
